This book was such a fun read! Best Man Speaking is a friends-to-lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers rollercoaster that keeps you hooked from the first page. The chemistry between Hallie and Marcus is electric, and their banter is the kind that makes you want to grab popcorn and settle in for the show! Jessie Elizabeth does a fantastic job of balancing humor, heartache, and the slow, delicious burn of rekindled romance.
Hallie is a fiery, no-nonsense heroine who isn’t afraid to throw verbal jabs, and Marcus is the sometimes charming, always infuriating ex who knows exactly how to push her buttons. Their dynamic is equal parts frustrating and fun, making for a read that’s impossible to put down. The tension, the teasing, and the undeniable sparks will have you hooked!
Beyond the romance, Best Man Speaking captures the bittersweet emotions of returning home, facing past wounds, and figuring out what (or who) truly feels like home. It’s the perfect mix of angst and humor, making it a breezy but still satisfying read!

This was such a fun, lighthearted romance with just the right amount of emotional depth. The banter was chef’s kiss, the chemistry was undeniable, and the second-chance love story was everything I hoped for. Highly recommend for romance lovers looking for an easy yet satisfying read!
