If you’re a fan of B.K. Borison’s Lovelight series or The Pumpkin Spice Café, you’ll want to add The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn to your fall TBR.
Cozy and full of small-town charm, this romance delivers crisp autumn vibes with a side of forced proximity, banter, and an apple orchard Harvest Festival that feels like it belongs in a Hallmark movie!
Summary
Ellie Lawson’s city life crashes down in spectacular fashion: dumped by her boyfriend and fired from her event planning job, she has no choice but to retreat to her parents’ inn on Long Island. The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn sits on a picturesque apple orchard, and Ellie assumes she’ll be able to lick her wounds quietly in the attic apartment.
Instead, she finds Aiden the orchard owner’s stubborn (and very attractive) son already living in her space. Sparks fly immediately, though not the romantic kind… at least not at first!
When their parents put Ellie and Aiden in charge of running the Harvest Festival, a make-or-break event for both the inn and the orchard, the tension between them grows even hotter!
As Ellie rediscovers the unexpected beauty of her hometown and Aiden learns to trust Ellie’s ideas and heart, their partnership begins to feel less like a fight and more like fate. But saving the festival and the orchard may be the only way to prove to themselves that love is worth the risk.

My Review
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐✨ (3.5/5 stars)
Perfect for: Readers who loved Lovelight Farms or The Pumpkin Spice Café, and anyone looking for their next cozy fall romance.
The fall vibes were absolutely nailed in this book. The cozy setting reminds me so much of Lovelight Farms, and the Harvest Festival prep made me want to go put on a cozy sweater and go apple picking!
What didn’t work as well for me was Ellie herself. I found her to be a little selfish and exasperating, which made it hard to root for her fully. Some of her decisions felt more frustrating than endearing, and that took me out of the story at times. That said, the chemistry between Ellie and Aiden was strong, and their banter was fun to follow.
Where the book shines is in the tension and slow build the “we’re stuck together and have to make this work” trope played out in a satisfying way. Even though Ellie wasn’t my favorite FMC, I still enjoyed watching her rediscover her roots and spar with Aiden!
Final Thoughts
If you love a good small-town romance with seasonal vibes, The Honeycrisp Orchard Inn will hit the spot!
It’s a story of rediscovery, reluctant roommates, and the kind of festival that makes you want to wrap up in a blanket with a mug of cider while reading. While the main character didn’t completely win me over, the setting and chemistry made for a fun fall read!
