I love a good adventure romcom, and Love at First Sighting is no exception. This one is fun, fast-paced, and just the right blend of flirty banter and mysterious intrigue!
Summary (spoiler free)
Los Angeles social media influencer El Martin might have a perfectly curated feed, but she’s starting to feel like her life is all filters and no real connection. She wants something authentic. Something to make her heart race again!
She definitely doesn’t expect that spark to come from capturing footage of a UFO… or from the charming Man in Black who keeps showing up in her life.
That man is Agent Carter Brody, who’s doing his best to drag the Private Intelligence Sector (P-I-S) into the twenty-first century while secretly longing to follow in his father’s footsteps tracking extraterrestrial sightings.
When El’s video hits his desk, he sees something disturbingly familiar an image eerily like what he witnessed before a family tragedy.
Assigned to El’s case, Carter is determined to get answers. But as they dig deeper into a conspiracy that stretches further than either expected, the lines between professional duty and personal connection blur.
Their chemistry is undeniable, their banter electric, and the mystery they’re chasing could change both of their lives forever.
Review
⭐ 4 stars A charming, swoony romcom with a dash of conspiracy, perfect for fans of romantic adventures and banter filled partnerships.
This book is pure fun with just enough emotional depth to keep you hooked beyond the romance. The insta-love vibe is definitely there (not shocking, given the title), but I didn’t mind it.
The chemistry feels genuine, and the mystery thread gives the relationship room to grow alongside the action.
Is it quite as perfect as Love and Other Conspiracies? For me, not quite but it still delivers an absolutely delightful reading experience.
